Why Discord
A community starts where people already are. The server is the product: channels, roles and a welcome flow, with no app to download.
What we made
A name and look, a Discord server, a daily news bot, a platform design with eight screens, and a series of short videos.

Two connected workflows on n8n. The first, at 7:00, finds news with sources; the second, at 8:00, posts them to the #novice channel. Nobody copies them by hand.
Search
Perplexity finds two news items for each of four topics, with sources from the live web, and writes a short summary for each topic.
Storage
The result gets saved. Several channels read from the same storage, so the search isn't paid for twice.
Publish
Eight news items in a single message in #novice, with the topic heading, a summary and a link to the source.

The platform that's coming.
A dedicated platform comes later, once the community grows. Until then, everything runs on Discord. The design is ready: eight screens and a technical plan with 22 tables and 80 components.

Two workflows
Gathering and posting are split on n8n: the search runs once, and multiple channels use the result.
News with sources
Perplexity searches the live web, so every news item has a source you can check.
Discord
Posted through a webhook with a custom User-Agent header, because Cloudflare blocks automated requests by default.
Sign-up
The sign-up form writes to Supabase through n8n. Data stays in the EU.
Video from code
Each video is a page in a browser, rendered at 30 frames per second into an MP4.
One source for the look
Colors, fonts and the logo are defined once and used by the site, videos and Discord.
